My Role
Together with a team of brilliant college students, we created an application that revolutionized the way people connect, eliminating the fear of missing out and creating instant connections in captivating spaces and live events. I played a role in crafting the user experience in Figma and Adobe XD and driving the development of the application in ReactNative and JavaScript. Additionally, I contributed to the company's graphic design needs and promotional efforts, ensuring a seamless and engaging user journey.
The Problem & Our Goal
In a bustling and dynamic world, individuals often find themselves trapped in the grip of the fear of missing out (FOMO), which results in a profound sense of disconnection from the vibrant tapestry of like-minded individuals, awe-inspiring places, and exhilarating events that surround them. The absence of a dependable and inclusive platform that effectively bridges this gap hampers their ability to forge genuine connections and partake in immersive experiences that enrich their lives.
Our goal at NewAve is to empower individuals to conquer the fear of missing out by providing a revolutionary social connection platform. We aim to create a vibrant and inclusive community where users can effortlessly discover and engage with like-minded individuals, uncover captivating places, and embrace a world of live events. Through seamless integration of technology and design, we aspire to redefine the way people connect, ensuring that no one misses out on the experiences that truly ignite their passion and curiosity. Design
To achieve this remarkable result, I employed a comprehensive design approach, meticulously considering every aspect of the user journey. From wireframing and prototyping to conducting usability testing, I ensured that the app met the needs and expectations of its target audience. Through the use of a clean and modern design language, coupled with a harmonious color palette, I created a visually cohesive experience that fosters a sense of trust and reliability. Furthermore, I optimized the app's performance and responsiveness, ensuring a smooth and seamless user experience across various devices and platforms.
Where is it now?
This was my first experience in UX Design and it ignited my creative spark and fueled my unwavering passion for front-end design, propelling me into the captivating world of UX design.
